Baumkuchen (Treecake™)

If fine pastry is your passion, try the award winning Eitelbach Treecake™ Baumkuchen which is a tribute to the old world artistry of confection making.  Based on recipes and a technique developed for the European royalty centuries age, the delicate Treecake Baumkuchen to this day remains a symbol of excellence.  Known as the "Cake of Kings and the King of Cakes", Treecake Baumkuchen is baked layer by layer on a rotisserie, requiring the constant care of the highly skilled confectioner.  It is best enjoyed with a cup of coffee and a bit of whipping cream, however, many also enjoy it with a glass of wine.   The consistency is similar to a pound cake, but the taste is  unique because of the special baking process and rich ingredients that include almonds and a touch of rum.

Truffles
